Oak Island is located on your left hand side before you cross the Folly River to Folly Beach.

Oak Island consist of single-family homes that have been built over several decades.

The first home was built in the 1960′s and newer, larger homes have been replacing them over the past several years.

Most all of the homes on Oak Island have some sort of view.  Many are on a deep water creek, with ocean and Charleston Harbor access nearby.

This section is not particularly for those who want a beach house that generates money, as the

neighborhoods C&R’s protect from short-term rental.  Oak Island is a great place for those who want the peace and serenity of coastal living.

You are about a five minute car trip or 10 minute bike ride to Folly Beach.  Historic Charleston can be accessed in 15 to 20 minutes by car or five minutes by boat.
